Seok Beolhyu (?-196) was the ninth king of Silla (Beolhyu Isageum, r. 184-196). His grandfather was Talhae Isageum, his father the gakgan Seok Gu-chu, and his mother Lady Jijinnaerye of the Kim family. His wife was a daughter of Kim A-do, said to be a great-granddaughter of Kim Al-ji.
He is said to have foretold floods, droughts and harvests by divination, and people called him a sage; this has been read as a sign that shamanistic elements lingered in Silla into the late second century. In 185 he sent Gudo and Gusuhye to conquer Somun-guk.
The sons of his eldest son Seok Gol-jeong were Jobun Isageum and Cheomhae Isageum, and the son of his second son Seok I-mae was Nae-hae Isageum, so most later Seok kings came from Beolhyu's line. His tomb's location is unknown.
A grandson of Talhae Isageum, Beolhyu succeeded Adalla Isageum in 184, returning the throne to the Seok line. His father Seok Gu-chu was a gakgan and his mother Lady Jijinnaerye was a Kim.
He conquered Somun-guk in 185 and fought Baekje several times in 188-190. Gudo won at Guyang but lost office after defeats in the raid on Wonsanhyang and the siege of Bugokseong. A record also says that in 193 over a thousand Wae people fled famine and came to Silla.
The location of his tomb is unknown.
The sons of his eldest son Seok Gol-jeong were Jobun and Cheomhae, and the son of his second son Seok I-mae was Nae-hae. One account says his daughter Lady Iri married Daeseoji and bore Silseong Isageum.
