Yeo Seong-je (呂聖齊, 1625–1691) of the Hamyang Yeo, pen name Unpo, placed first in a special civil examination under King Hyojong.
He served as Inspector-General and governor of Hamgyeong under Hyeonjong, and under Sukjong as Minister of Rites, War and Personnel before rising through Third and Second State Councillor to Chief State Councillor.
He is said to have retired after protesting moves to remove Seong Hon and Yi I from the Confucian shrine.
