Main branches (派)

Gyori-gong-pa, Wolheon-gong-pa, Giong-gong-pa

Gyori-gong-pa (校理公派)

The Gyori-gong branch descends from Jeong Su-gon (丁壽崑), a son of Jeong Ja-geup (丁子伋) and a 12th-generation descendant. He passed the civil examination in 1472 (3rd year of King Seongjong) and served as an erudite of the Seonggyungwan and an inspector before becoming a diplomatic-office editor (seungmunwon gyori).

The Naju Jeong divided mainly into the Gyori-gong and Wolheon-gong branches around the brothers Jeong Su-gon and Jeong Su-gang, and the Gyori-gong branch contains the Sajik-gong, Jinsa-gong, Chungsunwi-gong and Busa-gong sub-branches.

Wolheon-gong-pa (月軒公派)

The Wolheon-gong branch descends from Jeong Su-gang (丁壽崗, pen name Wolheon), a son of Jeong Ja-geup and younger brother of Jeong Su-gon. He passed the civil examination in 1477, served as vice-minister of war and in the Office of Ministers-without-Portfolio, and left the collection Wolheonjip and the allegorical tale Pojeolgun-jeon. His son Jeong Ok-hyeong (丁玉亨) was enfeoffed as Prince of Geumcheon, and his grandson Jeong Eung-du (丁應斗) rose to senior councillor of the Office of Ministers-without-Portfolio.

The Naju Jeong of Majae in Namyangju belong to the Daesaheon-gong sub-branch of the Wolheon-gong branch and settled there with Jeong Si-yun (丁時潤) of the 18th generation. Jeong Yak-yong's birthplace and tomb are at Majae.

Giong-gong-pa (奇翁公派)

The Giong-gong branch is said to descend from Jeong Sin (丁愼), of the same 12th generation as the founders of the Gyori-gong and Wolheon-gong branches.

Its sub-branches include the Uiam-gong and Seongam-gong branches.
