Kim Jik-son served as a remonstrator and is remembered for honesty and integrity; he was the grandfather of Kim Gye. One source gives 1437 as his birth and 1469 as his examination year (unconfirmed). A pavilion with a spirit-way stele text composed by Yi I stands beside Chwiseongjae in Yeongok-ri, Buan. His death year and pen name could not be confirmed.
