Kim Je (金齊, also 金濟) is regarded as the founder of the Baegam branch of the Seonsan Kim clan, a 14th-generation descendant of Kim Seon-gung. He is said to have drowned himself after Joseon's founding, leaving a poem on the wall of his office.
He was posthumously made Vice Minister of Rites, titled Chunggae, and enshrined at Gojuk Seowon in Andong and elsewhere.
