Consort of King Sejo; mother of Prince Deokwon and Prince Changwon
| Life | 1425 |
| Era | 조선 전기 |
| Clan | 선산 박씨 |
Lady Geunbin Park (謹嬪 朴氏), born in 1425, was a consort of King Sejo and is recorded as belonging to the Seonsan Park. The genealogy of the Deokwon branch of the Jeonju Yi lists her as a daughter of Park Seon-min of Seonsan. She was a sugui under Sejo, became a gwiin under Yejong, and in 1483 (Seongjong 14), after Queen Dowager Jeonghui died, was raised to the senior first rank of bin with the title Geunbin.
She bore two sons, Prince Deokwon (Yi Seo, 1449-1498) and Prince Changwon (Yi Seong, 1458-1484). Around 1504 she is said to have shaved her head and lived at Jasu Palace, and the Annals of Yeonsangun are reported to record that she was humiliated at court. The popular claim that she was a sister of the martyred minister Park Paeng-nyeon is judged untrue because their ancestral seats differ. Her tomb is in Gwangsa-dong, Yangju, Gyeonggi. Her personal name is not recorded.
