Park San (朴山) is known as a vice minister of Punishments and son of Ji-yeong (之永), said to have been magistrate of Pyeongtaek in early Joseon. After he was implicated in the 1456 plot to restore King Danjong, his descendants are said to have adopted Pyeongtaek, his father's posting, as their seat. Some accounts instead say he was exiled to North Hamgyeong and settled there.
His dates and detailed career are not confirmed in public sources; the above reflects local-history and family accounts.
