The Yangmu-gong branch descends from O Ja-gyeong (吳子慶, 1414-1478), posthumously titled Yangmu, second son of the Joseon founding merit subject O Mong-eul (吳蒙乙). He passed the military examination in 1454, was made a second-rank Jwaik merit subject at King Sejo's accession, and for suppressing the Yi Si-ae rebellion in 1467 became a third-rank Jeokgae merit subject and Prince Bosan, rising to military commander of central Pyeongan.
His eldest son O Yeon-sun (吳延純) became Vice Minister of Works, and his second son O Yeon-chal (吳延札) became the founding ancestor of the Nampo line in Boryeong, South Chungcheong.
The Jinsa-gong branch (Wolsongjeong Jinsa-gong-pa) traces itself to O Yu-rip (吳裕立, 1575-1658), 15th-generation descendant, who settled the area. A man of learning and letters, he gave up office under Gwanghaegun, retired to Noho-ri in Bugang-myeon, present-day Sejong, and built the Wolsong pavilion.
The Boseong O of Noho-ri belong to the Samgi lineage founded by O In-hu (吳仁厚) in the 10th generation, and about 96 households are recorded there before liberation.
