Gwangju-gun-gye, Gyujeong-gong-pa, Heonnap-gong-pa, Daehogun-gye, Yanggeun-gong-pa
The Gwangju-gun lineage counts as its first ancestor No Man (盧蔓), enfeoffed as Lord Gwangju under Goryeo. It claims descent from No Hae, eldest son of No Su, who is said to have come from Tang China, but having lost the intervening generations it honors No Man as its restorer-ancestor.
Its members live mainly in Gwangju and South Jeolla and sometimes give their seat as Gwangsan (光山); No Man's tomb and the Samneungdan altar to the nine No brothers are in Ochi-dong, Buk-gu, Gwangju. Former president Roh Moo-hyun is a descendant of this lineage.
The Gyujeong-gong branch, part of the No Man lineage, descends from No Seung-jo (盧承肇), who is recorded among the Gwangju No clansmen who passed the civil service examination under Goryeo.
The Heonnap-gong branch, part of the No Man lineage, descends from No Seung-gwan (盧承綰), who is likewise recorded as a Goryeo civil service examination graduate.
The Daehogun lineage counts as its first ancestor No Seo (盧恕), a senior general of the Gate Guards under Goryeo; its members live mostly in North Gyeongsang and Daegu, and it is also called the Sangju line. No Seo's great-grandson Gyeongpyeong-gong No Sung (盧嵩, 1337-1414), a protégé of Yi Saek, served as inspector-general and governor of Jeolla, was recorded as a founding merit subject of Joseon, and rose to honorary third state councillor.
The Yanggeun-gong, Chamui-gong, Sagan-gong, Gyeongnyeok-gong and Pangwan-gong branches descend from No Sung's five sons, and Soje No Su-sin (盧守愼), chief state councillor under King Seonjo, came from this Gyeongsang line.
The Yanggeun-gong branch descends from No Sang-in (盧尙仁), eldest son of Gyeongpyeong-gong No Sung. Through No Sung's marriage to a daughter of Kim Seon-chi of Sangju, No Sang-in settled in Hwaryeong county, Sangju.
His descendants have lived around Sasan-ri, Hwaseo-myeon, Sangju, where Gwangju No sites remain, including the spirit-path steles of No Hu and No Hong, No Su-sin's stele and tomb, and Okyeonsa shrine.
