Jeonseo-gong-pa, Sirang-gong-pa, Geumyang-gun-pa, Yeonan-gun-pa, Jikjang-gong-pa

Jeonseo-gong-pa (典書公派)

The Jeonseo-gong branch descends from Na Wi (羅位), eldest of the five sons of Na Su-yeong, the 4th-generation descendant of the clan's first-generation ancestor Na Deuk-gyu (羅得虬). All five sons entered office and each founded a branch; Na Wi served as minister of revenue (hojo jeonseo), hence the branch name.

His descendants are said to have settled around Yonggang and Seongcheon in Pyeongan Province.

Sirang-gong-pa (侍郞公派)

The Sirang-gong branch descends from Na Gye (羅桂), second son of Na Su-yeong. He served as jungseo sirang (vice-director of the Secretariat), and his descendants are said to have settled around Ganghwa in Gyeonggi Province.

Geumyang-gun-pa (錦陽君派)

The Geumyang-gun branch descends from Na Seok (羅碩), third son of Na Su-yeong. He served as a supernumerary official of the Office of Royal Wine and was enfeoffed as Lord Geumyang (錦陽君); his descendants are said to have settled around Gimje in Jeolla Province.

Yeonan-gun-pa (延安君派)

The Yeonan-gun branch descends from Na Se (羅世), recorded in the clan's genealogy as the fourth son of Na Su-yeong. He won merit repelling Japanese pirates in late Goryeo and was enfeoffed as Lord Yeonan (延安君); in 1380, as naval commander, he led 100 warships with Sim Deok-bu and Choe Mu-seon at Jinpo and destroyed 500 pirate ships using the cannons Choe Mu-seon had built.

For this he became a member of the State Council (munha pyeongni), and he continued to defend against pirates after the founding of Joseon. His descendants are said to have settled around Seocheon in Chungcheong Province.

Jikjang-gong-pa (直長公派)

The Jikjang-gong branch descends from Na Won (羅源), fifth son of Na Su-yeong. He served as a supernumerary official (jikjang) of the Office of Royal Wine, and his descendants are said to have remained around Naju in Jeolla, the clan seat.
