Pando-panseo-gong-pa, Ganui-gong-pa, Daejanggun-gong-pa, Sangnak Buwongun-pa, Gwangnok Daebu-gong-pa
The Pando Panseo-gong branch (also Panseo-gong branch) descends from Bang Seo (方曙, 1275-?), of the 13th generation. He was a son of Bang U-seon (方于宣), posthumous name Munjeong, who placed first in the National Academy examination and served as mayor of Pyongyang, and he himself served as academician of the Office of Royal Decrees and minister of revenue (pando panseo).
Of the seven Onyang Bang branches, it is regarded as the senior and largest line.
The Ganui-gong branch descends from Bang Hyeon (方玄), a son of Bang U-seon. He is said to have passed the classics examination under King Chungseon of Goryeo and served as a remonstrance official (ganui daebu).
The Onyang Bang divided into seven branches in the 13th generation, that of Bang U-seon's sons; the Ganui-gong branch is a sibling line of the Pando Panseo-gong branch.
The Daejanggun-gong branch descends from Bang Ga-dal (方可達), a son of Bang U-beon (方于蕃), the younger brother of Bang U-seon.
It is one of the seven Onyang Bang branches that divided in the 13th generation, alongside the Pando Panseo-gong and Ganui-gong branches.
The Sangnak Buwongun branch descends from Bang Sin-u (方臣祐), a son of the magistrate Bang Deuk-se (方得世). Under King Chungnyeol of Goryeo he entered the Yuan court, held high posts including pingzhang zhengshi, and is known for continuing to travel between Goryeo and Yuan in diplomatic service.
The Gwangnok Daebu-gong branch, founded by his brother Bang Sin-je (方臣悌), also comes from Bang Deuk-se's line.
The Gwangnok Daebu-gong branch descends from Bang Sin-je (方臣悌), a son of Bang Deuk-se. He went to the Yuan court, held the rank of geumja gwangnok daebu and the post of pingzhang, and is said to have settled in China.
It is one of two of the seven Onyang Bang branches that come from Bang Deuk-se's line.
