Gwangseong-gun-pa (廣城君派)

The Gwangseong-gun branch descends from Hyeon I-hu (玄利厚), second son of the founder Hyeon Dam-yun (玄覃胤). With his elder brother Hyeon Deok-su he helped his father suppress the rebellion of Jo Wi-chong, served as surveillance commissioner of Gyeongsang, and was enfeoffed as Gwangseong-gun.

Panyun-gong-pa (判尹公派)

The Panyun-gong branch is listed in the clan association's unified branch chart as the line of eighth-generation Hyeon Yong-bu (玄用富), a founding merit subject of Joseon who served as magistrate (panyun).

Seongju Moksa-pa (星州牧使派)

The Seongju Moksa branch descends from tenth-generation Hyeon Deuk-won (玄得元), son of ninth-generation Hyeon Gyu (玄珪), who served as magistrate of Gobu and as a section chief in the Ministry of Personnel. Hyeon Deuk-won passed the civil examination under King Sejong and became governor of Seongju in 1454.

When King Danjong was forced from the throne the following year, he is said to have resigned and retired with his son Hyeon Bo-son to Mukbang-dong in Yeongcheon, remaining loyal for the rest of his life.

Jeju Moksa-gong-pa (濟州牧使公派)

The Jeju Moksa-gong branch is listed in the clan association's unified branch chart as the line of ninth-generation Hyeon Sa-gyeong (玄思敬), who served as governor of Jeju. The chart shows three sub-lines under this branch.

Buyun-gong-pa (府尹公派)

The Buyun-gong branch is listed in the clan association's unified branch chart as descending from tenth-generation Hyeon U-jeok (玄禹績), who served as magistrate of Uiju.
