Son of Gil Jae, said to have been appointed Magistrate of Gyeongju in the reign of Sejong

Gil Sa-sun is said to have been a son of Gil Jae of the Haepyeong Gil clan. His years of birth and death are not confirmed.
Korean Wikipedia states he was appointed Magistrate of Gyeongju in 1441 (Sejong 23). Another source introduces him as Vice-Director of the Sajaegam, and another says King Sejong summoned him and appointed him to the Jongmyo, so the accounts of his office differ.
This is sometimes read together with the story that Sejong employed descendants of the loyal Gil Jae, but that is tradition and cannot be asserted. Details need confirming from clan records such as the Haepyeong Gil genealogy.
His father Gil Jae declined Joseon office out of loyalty to Goryeo. Sa-sun is said to be his second son.
Sources variously give Magistrate of Gyeongju (1441), Vice-Director of the Sajaegam, or Jongmyo official; which is correct was not confirmed.
