Jeon Deok-rin (全德隣) was a grandson of Munhyo-gong Jeon Sin and belonged to the Cheonan Jeon clan. Keeping to the principle of not serving two kings, he is said to have moved in 1414 to Sangha-myeon, Gochang, North Jeolla, and is honored as the first settler there.
Around Gongeum-myeon in Gochang, more than 100 households of his descendants are said to live on in the 20th generation. His exact dates could not be confirmed.
Cheonan Jeon families around Sindae-ri, Gongeum-myeon and elsewhere in Gochang are said to descend from him. Jeon Bong-jun also has deep ties to Gochang.
