Jeon Sik (1563-1642) was a mid-Joseon civil official of Okcheon in the Panseo-gong branch, with courtesy name Jeongwon, pen name Saseo (沙西) and posthumous title Chunggan (忠簡).
A disciple of Ryu Seong-ryong, he was called one of the 'Three Elders of Sangsan' with Jeong Gyeong-se and Yi Jun. He passed the civil examination in 1603 and served as Grand Remonstrator, Inspector-General and Director of the Academy. He raised a righteous army in the Imjin War, was appointed Yejo Jeongrang after the Injo Restoration, and was posthumously made Chief State Councillor of the Left.
He studied under Ryu Seong-ryong and, with Jeong Gyeong-se and Yi Jun, was known as one of the Three Elders of Sangsan, the Sangju scholarly circle.
He rallied a righteous army in the Imjin War and, after passing the examination in 1603, served as Grand Remonstrator, Inspector-General and Director of the Academy. A record states King Injo sent a sacrificial text in 1643.

His tomb was not confirmed. He is enshrined at Okdong Seowon in Sangju and Mokdam Seowon in Okcheon; his spirit-path stele (erected 1700) was designated North Gyeongsang Tangible Cultural Heritage in 2009.
His son Jeon Geuk-hang is recorded in some sources as having died in the Manchu War.
