Park Sang (朴像, first named Park Ang) is revered as the founder of the Gyeongju Park clan, said to be a 38th-generation descendant of Silla's King Pasa and a son of Park Ja-sin, a Yemun-gwan gyoeung in late Goryeo.
He passed the civil examination in 1451 (King Munjong's first year) and served as a jeojak at the Office of Special Advisors. When Grand Prince Suyang seized power in the Gyeyu Coup of 1453, he is said to have abandoned office in dismay and lived in seclusion, keeping his principles; in later years he stayed beneath Mt. Baeigsan in Pyeonggwang-ri, Haman. His life dates could not be confirmed in public sources.
