Park Sang (朴祥, 1474-1530), courtesy name Changse, pen name Nuljae and posthumous title Mungan, was an early Joseon official of the Chungju Park, said to be from Songjeong in Gwangju, Jeolla. Soon after the Jungjong Restoration, as a remonstrance official, he repeatedly criticized the selection of restoration merit subjects and the abuses of the old meritocrats.
While magistrate of Damyang, he is said to have joined Kim Jeong, magistrate of Sunchang, in petitioning to restore the deposed Queen Danggyeong (Lady Sin); this angered King Jungjong and led to his exile, but Jo Gwang-jo is said to have praised the petition as upholding moral order. He is counted among the four masters of Classical Chinese prose and left the history Dongguk Saryak, covering Gojoseon to Goryeo. Sources differ on the year he passed the examination.
