Ryu Gyeong-chang (1593-1662) was a mid-to-late Joseon official of the Jeonju seat. He passed the special civil examination in 1628 (6th year of Injo), served as chief remonstrator under Hyojong and rose to inspector-general under Hyeonjong. He is said to have been listed among the incorruptible officials under Sukjong.
The genealogical note under Ryu Heon's entry calls Gyeong-chang an incorruptible inspector-general and a grandson of Yeong-seong, which differs from sources that call him a grandson of Nakbong Ryu Heon. Which branch he belongs to should be checked in the clan register.
In Joseon the incorruptible-official list was a posthumous honor for virtuous conduct, and the Jeonju Ryu are noted for having both Ryu Heon and Ryu Gyeong-chang on it.
Korean Wikipedia's Jeonju Ryu entry presents Ryu Gyeong-chang as an incorruptible inspector-general. A popular reference list of incorruptible officials gives him as vice minister of personnel under Sukjong, so the office differs by source.
