Sin Ye (?-1355) was a late-Goryeo civil official of the Yeongsan Sin clan. His grandfather was Sin Hyeok (Dodocheomuichanseongsa) and his father Sin Won-gyeong (Hapmunjihu); his brothers are given as Sin Bu, Sin Sun, Sin Gwi and Sin Don. Sources disagree on whether Sin Don's father was Sin Won-gyeong or Sin Ye, so the exact lineage is uncertain.
After passing the civil examination under King Chungsuk he served under King Chunghye as Jwajeongeon and Jisinsa and rose to Cheomuipyeongni. The Goryeosa records, without dates, that with his brother-in-law the eunuch Go Yong-bo he assisted when a Yuan envoy took King Chunghye into custody. He appears in the 'treacherous ministers' section of the Goryeosa, indicating poor contemporary and later opinion.
In 1345, when the Jeongbang personnel office was re-established, he became a jejogwan as chamni. Because he stayed there a long time and shaped appointments, people called him the 'Sin King' (辛王).
Under King Chungmok he was named Prince Chwiseong (Chwiseong Buwongun) and died in 1355; the circumstances are not recorded. His birth year is unknown. He is mentioned in accounts of how the clan flourished in late Goryeo before declining after Sin Don's fall.
The Jeongbang was a late-Goryeo personnel office. The account that he shaped appointments there and was called the 'Sin King' comes from the Goryeosa's section on treacherous ministers.
His younger brothers include Sin Bu and Sin Don, though sources differ on Sin Don's father.
His tomb was not confirmed in these sources.
