Yun Sang-hyun, a South Korean politician with a degree in economics from Seoul National University and graduate degrees from Georgetown and George Washington universities, lost his first Assembly race in Incheon's Nam-gu district in 2004 but won the seat in 2008.
He has since been re-elected multiple times across successive conservative parties, serving as party spokesman, floor whip, and secretary-general of the Saenuri Party as well as a senior political aide in the presidential office, and currently represents Incheon's Dong-gu Michuhol-gu Eul district in the 22nd National Assembly.
