Bae Chung-gwa (裵忠果) is revered by the Gyeongju Bae clan as a secondary founding ancestor. Skilled in medicine, he was appointed Uiseo Seupdokgwan (medical text instructor) during the reign of King Jungjong of Joseon and was given the honorific title Gyeongju Cheosa ("Recluse of Gyeongju"), becoming the founder of the clan's Cheosagong branch.

He serves as the reference ancestor from whom the clan's lineage has been traced since founder Bae Hyeon-gyeong, and descendants have maintained their genealogy centered on him.
