Life & career

Bak Han-jong (朴漢宗, 1855–1934) joined the Sannam Righteous Army when it was raised by Jeong Yong-gi in Yeongcheon, North Gyeongsang Province, in March 1906, working to recruit fighters and gather intelligence and military supplies in the Yeongsan, Miryang, and Cheongdo areas. In 1990 he was posthumously awarded the Order of Merit for National Foundation (Patriotic Medal).
