Bak Heung-sik (朴興植) was a figure of the Korean Empire and Japanese colonial period.
Pro-Japanese activities As the operator of the Hwasin Department Store and president of firms such as Joseon Aircraft Industry (조선비행기공업), he cooperated with the munitions industry and solicited national defense donations and the student-soldier draft. For such acts he was listed as a pro-Japanese collaborator by the government (Presidential Committee for the Inspection of Collaborations for Japanese Imperialism) or in the Dictionary of Pro-Japanese Collaborators (《친일인명사전》, Institute for Research in Collaborationist Activities).
