Park Si-hyeong was an early Joseon official, son of Park Jung-sin. He passed both the licentiate and classics examinations in 1456 and the Baling special examination in 1459. After posts as Inspector, Board of Taxation assistant and Hongmungwan scholar he became Deputy Royal Secretary, Magistrate of Andong and Hyeonmungwan Vice-Director, and was named a Huwon merit subject.
A tale says that as a boy he preferred hunting to study and was neglected by the village; insulted one day by a hunting party he could not resist, he broke his bow, went home and devoted himself to study, passing successive examinations. The entry mixes his name with a brother's in this passage, so details are uncertain.
He is enshrined at Moseonjae and has a separate tomb-stele entry. The year of the merit-subject award and his life dates were not confirmed.
He is recorded as passing both licentiate examinations in 1456 and the Baling examination in 1459.
