Baek In-geol (白仁傑, 1497–1579) was a civil official and scholar of the mid-Joseon period, whose art name was Hyuam (休菴). A disciple of Jo Gwang-jo (Jeongam), he is counted among the figures who upheld the integrity of the sarim (scholar-official) class.
He served as Daesagan and Daesaheon, among other posts, and during the era of literati purges (士禍) he was dismissed and exiled several times for speaking honestly. Renowned as an incorruptible official (cheongbaengni), he had a scholarly influence on Yi I (Yulgok) and Seong Hon (Ugye), among others.
