Baek Nam-jun (Nam June Paik, 白南準, 1932–2006) was a world-renowned artist of Korean origin, counted as the founder of video art. He took part in the avant-garde art movement Fluxus and pioneered new forms of art.
Drawing television and video media into art, he left a great influence on the world art scene through the live satellite broadcast work "Good Morning, Mr. Orwell" and large-scale video installations.
