Gang Dae-ryeon (姜大蓮) was a figure of the Korean Empire and Japanese colonial period.
Pro-Japanese activities As the head monk of Yongjusa Temple, he published writings praising Japanese colonial rule and its wars of aggression, and served as chairman of the joint office of the 30 head temples. For such acts he is listed as a pro-Japanese figure by a government determination (the Presidential Committee for the Inspection of Collaborations for Japanese Imperialism) or in the Dictionary of Pro-Japanese Collaborators (Institute for Research in Collaborationist Activities).
