Heo Yu-jeon was a late-Goryeo official who, after passing the civil examination, rose through the chaechu ranks to chief minister and was enfeoffed as Lord of Garak. His posthumous name is Chungmok, and he was named a meritorious subject (Danseong Sujeol). He is said to have worked to bring the exiled King Chungseon back to Goryeo but was thwarted by the Shenyang faction. His son was Heo Yeong (許榮).
Sources differ on his dates and the year he passed the examination, so the years given are indicative. Dusanjae on Ganghwa Island is presented as a related site.
