Jeon Yun-jang (全允臧), a 30th-generation Jeongseon Jeon, founded the Seongneung-gun branch. The clan association says he began service under King Chungsuk and served five reigns through Gongmin. He was named a second-rank merit subject for escorting the king as Sanghogun during Jo Jeok's revolt in 1342, became Inspector of Seohae-Pyeongyang in 1343, surveyed the population of Ssangseong as Circuit Commissioner in 1347, and rose to Chamui Chanseongsa in 1351 after accompanying Prince Gangneung (later King Gongmin) to the Yuan court in 1349.
Gangwon Domin Ilbo, quoting clan elders, presents him as Lord Seongneung who served as Munha Sijung and could be counted as a mid-founder. Posts and dates differ by source.
He lived in the era of Yuan interference, with Chunghye's restoration and deposition and Gongmin's accession. The clan describes him as dealing skillfully with improper Yuan demands.
The branch is reported to be centred on Jeongseon with many descendants around Chungju and northern North Chungcheong. The title is also written Seongneung (석능군) in some sources.
Clan elders say his tomb lies in the Seounsan family graveyard at Nakdong-ri, Jeongseon, alongside those of Jeon O-ryun and Jeon Yeong-bo (Gangwon Domin Ilbo).
His descendants are centred on Jeongseon, Chungju and northern North Chungcheong. A clan head told a newspaper that about 80% of Jeongseon Jeon belong to this line (an unverified clan claim).
