Park Jung-seon (朴仲善, 1435-1481) was an early-Joseon general of the Suncheon Park clan; his mother was a daughter of Sim On, making him a nephew of Queen Soheon. He passed the military examination in first place in 1460 and, trusted by Han Myeong-hoe, is said to have risen quickly to Vice Minister of War.
He was named a first-rank Jeokgae merit subject for suppressing the Yi Si-ae rebellion in 1467 and then became Minister of War. He is also recorded as a merit subject at the Nam I affair and at Seongjong's accession, and in 1478 was appointed Minister of Personnel, a rare post for a military man, though not without objection. His daughter Lady Seungpyeong married Grand Prince Wolsan, and his son was Park Won-jong of the Jungjong Restoration.
