Gang Byeong-il (姜炳一) was a figure of the Korean Empire and Japanese colonial period.

Pro-Japanese activities During the March 1st Movement he took part, as an auxiliary of the military police (gendarmerie), in the killing and wounding of civilians. For such acts he is listed as a pro-Japanese figure by a government determination (the Presidential Committee for the Inspection of Collaborations for Japanese Imperialism) or in the Dictionary of Pro-Japanese Collaborators (Institute for Research in Collaborationist Activities).
