Gim Seok-won (金錫源) was a figure of the Korean Empire and the Japanese colonial period.
Pro-Japanese activities As a colonel (daejwa) in the Japanese army, he took part in the Second Sino-Japanese War and propagandized and agitated for the war of aggression. For such acts he is a pro-Japanese figure listed by the government (the Presidential Committee for the Inspection of Collaborations for Japanese Imperialism) or in the Dictionary of Pro-Japanese Collaborators (Chinil Inmyeong Sajeon) (Institute for Research in Collaborationist Activities).
