Gwon Cheol (1503-1578) was a mid-Joseon official from Andong, with courtesy name Gyeongyu, pen name Ssangchwiheon and posthumous title Gangjeong. Son of Gwon Jeok, Magistrate of Ganghwa, he rose through posts such as Gyeomnyeol, Royal Secretary and minister to Right, Left and finally Chief State Councillor.

His son Gwon Yul is known as the Commander-in-Chief of the Haengju victory in the Imjin War.

In 1537 he was exiled to Byeokdong after incurring the enmity of Kim An-ro and was restored after Kim's death. He later served as Chief Royal Secretary, minister of several boards and Right Chansaeng-sa before Right, Left and Chief State Councillor. He is also recorded as repelling Japanese raiders as Governor of Jeolla.
