The Andong Kwon clan (安東 權氏) has its ancestral seat in Andong, North Gyeongsang Province. Its founder Kwon Haeng (權幸) was originally a Silla Kim, but is said to have been granted the surname Kwon (權) for his merit in helping Taejo Wang Geon of Goryeo defeat Gyeon Hwon of Later Baekje.
Kwon Haeng is revered, together with Kim Seon-pyeong and Jang Jeong-pil, as one of the Three Grand Masters (三太師) of Andong. The Andong Kwon clan produced many civil officials and scholars through Goryeo and Joseon, and is also famous for leaving behind the Seonghwabo (1476), one of the earliest surviving genealogies.
The 안동 권씨 clan association can be found in the Korean E-Jokbo Library clan-association directory.
