Gwon Ho-mun (1532-1587) was a mid-Joseon scholar from Andong with the pen name Songam. Known as a disciple of Yi Hwang (Toegye), he passed the jinsa examination in 1561 but declined office and lived in seclusion below Cheongseongsan in Andong.
His Hangeo sippalgok (a sijo cycle) and Dongnak palgok (a variant of the gyeonggi-che-ga form) survive in the Songam-jip, and he is enshrined at Cheongseong Seowon.
One source says he entered the school of Yi Hwang, his maternal granduncle, at fifteen and studied closely under him, staying close to fellow students Ryu Seong-ryong and Kim Seong-il.
He passed the jinsa in 1561 but gave up office after his mother's death and withdrew below Cheongseongsan. The lecture hall he founded in 1569 to teach students is introduced as Gwanmuldang.
The sijo cycle Hangeo sippalgok and the gyeonggi-che-ga variant Dongnak palgok are in the Songam-jip. Cheongseong Seowon, enshrining him, is said to have been founded in 1608.
Cheongseong Seowon and his tomb are described as lying in Magok-ri, Pungsan-eup.
