Gwon Je (1387-1445) was an early-Joseon official from Andong, originally named Do (蹈), with pen name Jijae and posthumous title Mungyeong. He was a son of Gwon Geun and father of Gwon Ram.
He topped the 1414 civil examination, served as minister of Rites and Personnel and as Daejehak under King Sejong, and became Right Chansaeng-sa in 1443. He took part in compiling the Goryeo-sa and left works such as the Jijae-jip.
He entered office through hereditary appointment, topped the 1414 civil examination and under King Sejong held posts including Jipui, Royal Secretary, vice-minister and minister of Rites and Personnel, and provincial governor. From 1437 he took part in compiling the Goryeo-sa together with figures such as Jeong In-ji, Kim Jong-seo and Sin Suk-ju.
His works include the Jijae-jip, Yeokdae nyeonsega and Yeongga yeon-goejip. The Annals call him quick-minded and well read but also record criticism of his household conduct. When he died at 59 in 1445, King Sejong is said to have suspended court business for two days.
His father was Gwon Geun and his sons are recorded as Gwon Ji, Gwon Ram, Gwon Ban, Gwon Ma and others. He is also given as great-great-grandfather of Gwon Cheol.
His tomb is described as lying in the Bangchuk-ri family area of Eumseong together with Gwon Geun's.
