Han Duck-soo (1949– ) is a South Korean economic bureaucrat, diplomat, and politician from Jeonju. A graduate of Seoul National University's economics department with a master's and doctorate from Harvard, he entered government service after passing the higher civil service exam in 1970 and held senior posts including Commissioner of the Korean Intellectual Property Office (1997), Vice Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy (1997–1998), Minister for Trade (1998–2001), Ambassador to the OECD (2001–2002), Minister of the Office for Government Policy Coordination (2004–2005), and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Economy (2005–2006). He served as the 38th Prime Minister from April 2007 to February 2008, as Ambassador to the United States (2009–2012), and as the 48th Prime Minister again from May 2022 to May 2025.
