Yi Beom-rae (1868-?) was a Joseon-era military officer and later a colonial bureaucrat. In 1894 he served as an officer in the Jangwiyeong garrison, and in 1896 he commanded a company, then a battalion, of the Hullyeondae (Training Unit) implicated in the 1895 assassination of Empress Myeongseong (the Eulmi Incident).
He went on to serve as a councilor of the Korean Empire's Jungchuwon (1907), governor of South Hamgyong Province and concurrently a judge (1908), and as a provincial councilor (chamyeogwan) under the Government-General — in North Hamgyong from 1910 to 1917 and in South Pyongan from 1917 to 1921. He received several Japanese colonial commendations, including the Korea Annexation Commemorative Medal (1912) and the Taisho Enthronement Commemorative Medal (1915), and was accordingly designated a pro-Japanese collaborator by South Korea's Truth Commission and listed in the Dictionary of Pro-Japanese Collaborators.
