Primary consort (queen) of King Sukjong, the 19th king of Joseon

Queen Ingyeong (1661-1680) of the Gwangsan Kim clan was the daughter of Kim Man-gi and the first wife of King Sukjong of Joseon. Selected as crown princess in 1671, she became queen upon Sukjong's accession in 1674.
She bore two daughters, both of whom died in infancy, and she herself died of smallpox at age nineteen after an eight-day illness at Gyeongdeok Palace in 1680. Her tomb, Ikneung, lies within the Seooreung royal tomb cluster in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, and was designated Historic Site No. 198 in 1970.
