Life & career

Said to be a son of Gu-hyeong, the last king of Geumgwan Gaya, he is known to have served Silla as military governor of Sinju and as gakgan. He is said to have distinguished himself against Baekje at the Battle of Gwansanseong in 554, and the family continued through his son Kim Seo-hyeon and grandson Kim Yu-sin.
