O Seo-jong (1693-1722) was a late-Joseon civil official of the Boseong O clan belonging to the Noron faction; his father was O Du-cheon. Wikipedia says he passed a special civil examination in the second class and became a Seonggyungwan doctor.
In 1722, when Mok Ho-ryong reported that more than sixty people including the Noron Four Ministers such as Kim Chang-jip had plotted to kill King Gyeongjong, O Seo-jong was suspected, together with Yu Gyeong-yu, of having procured silver for the plot. The affair led to the Imin purge (Sinim Oksa).
He is recorded as having died after interrogation. The Wikipedia entry carries an editing request to add more on his seat, dates, family and career, so details should be checked against sources such as the Veritable Records of Gyeongjong.
His tomb could not be confirmed.
