Ninth-generation ancestor who left Boseong under King Taejong to escape pirates and settled at Hyeondo, Cheongju

O Suk-dong (吳叔仝) was a ninth-generation Boseong O of early Joseon who is said to have served as Jinui Buwi. The Sejong local culture encyclopedia says he left Boseong under King Taejong to escape frequent Japanese pirate raids and settled at Hyeondo-myeon in today's Cheongwon (Cheongju). One source calls him the clan's reviver. His dates could not be confirmed.
His descendants then spread across Hyeondo and nearby areas and formed several branches. A Boseong O Daemunjung shrine house stands at Dalgye-ri, Hyeondo-myeon, and Wikipedia files a page on the "Tomb of O Suk-dong at Hyeondo" under Boseong O topics, suggesting the tomb is at Hyeondo.
Because it is counted among the earliest moves of the Boseong O from the southern coast to inland Chungcheong, his settlement is important in the clan's settlement history. It is explained as leading to the Samgi lineage of O In-hu in the tenth generation and the Wolsongjeong Jinsa-gong branch of O Yu-rip in the fifteenth.
His tomb appears to be at Hyeondo, Cheongju, but the exact location could not be confirmed.
