O Yu-rip (吳裕立, 1575-1658) was a fifteenth-generation Boseong O of mid-Joseon and the settler ancestor of Noho-ri in Bugang-myeon, Sejong. A man of learning and letters, he gave up office under Gwanghaegun and returned home. The Sejong local culture encyclopedia says he built the Wolsong pavilion (月松亭) and founded Nobong Seowon (魯峰書院).
The Wolsongjeong Jinsa-gong branch is said to have formed on this basis. About 96 households lived at Noho-ri before liberation and 33 in 2015, and at the village entrance stand the Inbong stele of 1884 and stones inscribed "O-ssi Segeo Nohodongcheon" and "Boseong O-ssi Cheon".
The Jinju Jeong wife of his descendant O Sang-jeong (1614-1651) was honored as a virtuous woman, and a memorial gate was erected in 1934 by descendant O Hui-jin; it is Sejong Local Heritage No. 63. Whether O Yu-rip himself was a Jinsa and his detailed career could not be confirmed here, and the origin of the branch name "Jinsa-gong" should be checked with the clan.
