Yang Heon-su (梁憲洙) was a late Joseon military official. His courtesy name was Gyeongbo, his pen name Hageo, and his posthumous title Chungjang (忠壯). He was born in 1816 and died in 1888, although one account (Namuwiki) gives his birth year as 1821.
During the French campaign against Korea in 1866 (Byeonginyangyo), he repelled French forces at Jeongjoksanseong Fortress on Ganghwa Island. He later served as Governor of Jeju and as Commander of the Eoyeongcheong (Royal Guards Command).
He was a 13th-generation descendant of the early Joseon scholar Yang Seong-ji and belonged to the Munyanggong branch, a sub-branch of the Byeongbugong branch of the Namwon Yang clan. A site called the tomb of General Yang Heon-su is listed in Wikipedia's categories, but its location could not be confirmed.
